The Lacquer Balms come in jumbo pencil form with bases that twist to reveal more product. The packaging is made of mirrored plastic in the color of the balm inside. The balms twist so that you don’t need to sharpen them.
Coquette is a translucent hot pink shade with small, disbursed silver shimmer particles. The balm leaves a glossy, slightly balmy finish and the shimmer isn’t that noticeable.
The texture for this lacquer balm is emollient and moisturizing. It feels light-weight on the lips and has a light peppermint scent without making the lips tingle.
This shade can emphasize any dry patches you have on your lips and, as it wears off, stays behind in the lip lines a little bit. The tint it leaves behind is pretty light–not a true stain.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
The pencil form allows you to draw onto the lips easily and precisely.
