Company’s Description

The mousse-like texture feels like silk on your skin. And, the time release formula balances skin for a flawless look. All day flexible wear without flaking, caking or feeling heavy.

Revlon’s Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup is a cream-formula foundation said to give you a flawless look with flexible wear. This foundation comes in 12 shades. This review depicts the shade Nude.

Packaging: 8/10

The Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup comes in a heavy glass jar with a plastic twist-off lid. Although this packaging is pretty, it’s not sanitary because you’ll have to dip into the jar to get the product out. I’d recommend you use a clean spatula to get the foundation out of the jar instead of dipping your fingers or a brush into the jar.

Quality: 9.75/10

This is a cream formula foundation that’s on the thick side in terms of consistency, but also has a slightly whipped/bouncy texture to it.

Even though the consistency is thick, this foundation feels feather-light on the skin. There’s no thick, cakey, or gooey finish–the foundation blends beautifully into the skin. It gives you medium coverage and leaves a demi-matte finish.

I have combination skin and I can wear this foundation without powdering it and I don’t need to blot until the end of the day. I do get a little bit of shininess after about 6 hours of wear, but not enough for me to feel like I need to powder or blot. With powder lightly applied on top, I don’t have to blot at any point.

This is a great, light-weight, natural-looking, long-wearing foundation. It would be perfect if only it didn’t come in a jar!

Ease of Use: 9.75/10

This cream foundation spreads out effortlessly and smoothly over the skin, despite the texture being on the thick side. The only downside is that I find I have to use more product than I do with other liquid and cream foundations.

Price: 8.75/10

For around $14.00 you get 0.8 fl oz of product. This is more expensive that most other drugstore cream foundations, but also gives you slightly more product.

Sounds like a pretty good foundation. Although I have to disagree on the amount. It does not give more since it’s only 0.8 or 23.7ml . Usual size for all the drugstore foundations is 1 oz or 30ml

This foundation contains more product compared to other cream/mousse foundations. The 1 oz you’re talking about is for liquid foundations. Compared to other cream/mousse foundations, you get more product with Revlon’s Color Stay Whipped Creme Foundations. For example, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation contains only 0.64 oz; L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Repair Absolute Rapid Age Reversing Makeup contains only 0.7 oz; Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse contains only 0.49 oz.

Hey doll, I hope you are fantastic.

Would you say ‘nude’ is the best match for your NC20 skin or would you look for a different shade if you were to re-purchase this? Also, how did you find it best to apply it to your skin?

If you had to choose between this & the Estée Lauder Double Wear Light, Stay in Place Foundation, which one do you prefer? If it’s situational, please explain, if you don’t mind. I’m in desperate need of a BB Cream, CC Cream, Foundation, etc. But I don’t want anything heavy, especially with the warmer weather coming, I don’t require a lot of coverage, liquids intimidate me so I usually wear powder but I realize they are giving me what I want. Anyhow, EL Light was on my try list & I was thrilled to see your review on it. But this looks promising & less expensive.

Also, If you could also divulge what your current go to for under eye concealer is, I’d be extremely grateful.

    Please help!

Thank you in advance. Take care & have a great weekend.

Nude is the best match for my skin. I buff this into the skin with a dense, domed, synthetic-bristle buffing brush. I’d say try out the Revlon foundation first before going to the EL Light.
