This one compact does it all with a flattering Radiant Orchid powder blush and two harmonizing powder luminizers in warm rose gold and cool iridescent pink. Enhance cheeks with a rush of color and highlight with a sophisticated shimmer for a radiant glow.
Sephora’s new collaboration Collection with Pantone for this year’s Color Of The Year–Radiant Orchid–will be releasing on Sephora very soon. This review is for the Rush Luster Cheek Sweep releasing with the Radiant Orchid Collection. This cheek palette includes a blush and 2 luminizers.
This cheek palette comes in a radiant orchid palette that transitions to white. The palette is made of light-weight plastic and the compact snaps shut and contains a full-length mirror in the lid. The luminizers occupy 2 smaller pans while the blush occupies a larger pan. The pans are separated so that you don’t get cross-over from one pan to the other.
The left-most luminizer is a soft, muted rose shade with silver shimmer. The second luminizer is a pale, nude, gold-champagne with silver shimmer. And the blush is a translucent but strongly-pigmented radiant orchid with soft shimmer.
All of the powders have a great formula–it’s soft enough to glide smoothly onto the skin but isn’t so soft that it’s crumbly or dusty. All 3 shades also have great pigmentation, so you don’t have to use much product to get the luminizing effect or color you want. Either luminizer can be used on the cheeks, paired with the blush. Or, you can use the second luminizer to highlight your nose and other parts of the face also.
Ease of Use: 9.75/10
The formula for these powders makes using the palette very easy. The shades blend out nicely and quickly give off color/luminescence.
$26.00 is a very reasonable price-tag given the number of colors you get in this palette and the amount of product.
