Company’s Description

L’Oreal: Take your glow to galactic levels with the L’Oreal Infallible Galaxy Stick. These multi-use illuminating sticks add light and luminosity for a radiant glow with holographic effects.

NYX: Stop everything and glisten up! NYX Professional Makeup has got a whole new way to glow: say hello to the Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick. Packed with ultra-fine holographic pearls, these beyond creamy highlighters look as insanely cool as they sound. Each shade glides on effortlessly to softly illuminate your complexion for a runway-inspired strobe effect.

Practically speaking, these highlighting sticks are virtually identical. The L’Oreal sticks glide over the skin more easily and have a slightly stronger show of shimmer. The NYX sticks require some more swipes of the product, but look more skin-like. Once the highlighters from each brand are blended out, you really can’t tell a difference between them.

The L’Oreal sticks are $1 more, but they also contain more product. So, once you work out the price per ounce of product, they are almost the same.

So, which should you choose? Whichever one is on sale at the time you’re buying! 🙂
