The trade show is a lot of fun: there are seminars from experienced speakers in the industry, a student competition that exhibits amazing makeup work, and (most peoples’ favorite part) tons of makeup booths where you can purchase items at a discount. There is always a large turn-out, so you get to mingle with others who love makeup.

But it can also be stressful managing the schedule of seminars, navigating which of the dozens of booths to go to, and being crammed in between 100 other people who want to buy the same lipstick you do! Benefit & Diet Coke “Love It Light” Campaign

Benefit Cosmetics has teamed up with Diet Coke for a “Love It Light” campaign in Europe. Three limited-edition can designs will be sold in floral, houndstooth, and zebra prints. Each design represents a different style: the romantic, fashionista, and rock chick.

CK One Launches New Cosmetic Line

Some of you may remember Calvin Klein makeup being sold at Sephora. The company appears to be re-entering the makeup market with CK One Color–its new cosmetics line. The line will include over 130 products that will be available in limited range starting April 2012 and will fully launch in September 2012.
