Below are pictures of MAC’s Electric Eel eye shadow, which the company describes as a bright blue with shimmer. This is a Satin formula shadow and is a permanent color in MAC’s line.

Although the color description says there is shimmer in the color, the shimmers are very, very subtle. Even if worn all over the lid, the shimmers are nearly imperceptible on the skin.

MAC Pro Palettes Collection

Here is a sneak peek into MAC’s upcoming Pro Palettes Collection, releasing in July. MAC customers and makeup artists who have a large collection of shadows and blushes often find it much more manageable to store the pans in palettes instead of having them in individual compacts. MAC hasn’t released new palettes in a long time, so the expansion of palette offerings will be pleasantly accommodating for many customers, especially if MAC makes them fit domed and off-sized pans. And they’re releasing not only new palettes, but inserts too!

**Update** This collection is on temporary delay status. MAC has not finalized a new release-date yet. Once these new palettes are released, the current palettes will be phased out.
